El presidente de Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, en una alocución especial al pueblo venezolano, afirmó que está «de pie, firme y victorioso», luego del intento de atentado contra su vida perpetrado en la tarde de este sábado, mientras hacía uso de la palabra en un acto celebrado en la avenida Bolívar de Caracas, a propósito del aniversario 81 de la Guardia Nacional Bolivariana.
«Aquí estoy de pie otra vez», reiteró Maduro, quien contó que justo en el momento en que hacía referencia al Censo de Transporte que está convocando el gobierno para la reorganización de este sector y evitar el robo de combustibles en el país, vio una primera explosión frente a él desde un dron con explosivos.

The revolutionary government of the Republic of Cuba forcefully denounces the attempted attack on the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, which occurred Saturday August 4, during a military parade in Caracas, on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Bolivarian National Guard.
This terrorist act, presuming to ignore the will of the Venezuelan people, is yet another desperate attempt to achieve via assassination what has not been possible in multiple elections, or through the 2002 coup against then-President Hugo Chávez, the 2003 oil industry lock-out, or the unconventional war conducted with media campaigns, sabotage, and violent, cruel acts.

Los órganos de la seguridad del Estado identificaron a los autores materiales y colaboradores inmediatos del intento de magnicidio perpetrado contra el presidente de Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, informó hoy el fiscal general, Tarek William Saab.
En rueda de prensa desde la sede del Ministerio Público, Saab señaló que las investigaciones preliminares permitieron determinar la identidad de los terroristas, su lugar de alojamiento antes de perpetrar el atentado y las primeras conexiones internacionales de los involucrados.

El sábado 4 de agosto último a las 17:41 horas, durante la celebración de la parada militar en homenaje al aniversario 81 de la Guardia Nacional Bolivariana, elementos criminales atentaron contra la vida del mandatario venezolano mediante el uso de drones cargados con explosivos.

Concluded yesterday, July 30, in Havana was a two-day national seminar on the Constitutional reform consultation process, which included more than 280 provincial representatives of the Party, the Young Communists League, mass organizations, the Union of Jurists, political leaders of the Ministries of the Revolutionary Armed Forces and the Interior, as well as the commission charged with Implementation and Development of Policy Guidelines, the National Electoral Commission, the Center for Socio-political Studies, and the Ministry of Foreign Relations.

The Sunday session was devoted to an exchange with the committee of deputies charged with drafting the proposal that was debated, modified, and approved by the National Assembly, and will be discussed by the population August 13 through November 15.

On Monday an explanation was presented as to how proposals and comments will be compiled from the more than 135,000 meetings to be held in workplaces, schools, community centers, and abroad – which will be conducted by 7,600 two-person teams who will receive further training.

Some 600,000 copies of the proposed Constitutional reform will be offered for sale at the cost of one CUP, while the draft is also available online.

As Army General Raúl Castro Ruz stated July 26, the success of the popular consultation depends on the active, committed participation of all Cubans, to ensure understanding of the changes proposed, and reaffirm the irrevocable nature of socialism in the country and the continuity of the Revolution.
