Casa de las Americas of NYC Declaration on Recent Events in Cuba

Casa de las Americas of NYC (Casa) expresses its support for the Cuban people, its President Miguel Diaz-Canel and their glorious Revolution. There is no doubt about the courage, heroism, and willingness of the people of Cuba to defend their principles and values.
We repúdiate any subversive intervention by the United States and its allies, on Cuba. We are convinced that the multiple attacks and threats of the United States against Cuba’s sovereignty will be defeated as it has always been. We demand that Cuba’s sovereignty be respected.

The members of Casa will always be at the forefront of Cuba’s defense and it’s Revolution.

Long live Socialist Cuba! Cuba will overcome all adversity!

Casa de las Americas de Nueva York (Casa) expresa su más sincero respaldo al pueblo Cubano, a su presidente Miguel Díaz-Canel y a su gloriosa revolución. No hay dudas de la valentía, el coraje, y el heroísmo del pueblo cubano en defender sus principios y valores.

Repudiamos toda intervención subversiva de parte de Estados Unidos y sus aliados contra Cuba. Estamos convencidos de que las múltiples agresiones y amenazas de los Estados Unidos contra la soberanía de Cuba serán vencidas como ha sido siempre. Exigimos que la soberanía de Cuba se respete.

Los miembros de Casa hemos de estar siempre al frente en la defensa de Cuba y su revolución.
