Not at 3:00 pm on November 14, or at any time on the 15th did the people of Cuba allow someone – spoon fed by the foreign nation that has most harmed the homeland – to disrupt our tranquility with the airs of war, or replace our peace with revenge, festering over more than 60 years as a result of our irreverence, a few miles from the same Yankees who, using similar pretexts and similar plans, have bombed peoples in the Middle East and encouraged hatred and violence in Our America.

The fact that events announced for Monday, November 15, bear not a trace of authenticity or improvisation has been made clear by the 29 public statements from U.S. authorities, logistical support, courses for the training of agents of change, and a media operation mounted on social networks, from U.S. territory, using bots to falsify reality.

We arrived in the La Coronela neighborhood of La Lisa, where Yunior Garcia lives, the latest manufactured ringleader attempting to lead a process of political destabilization in Cuba, on Sunday afternoon. This was the day on which he had announced plans for a performance in which José Martí’s anti-imperialist, loving rose was to be sullied.

“Nobody is paying me to be here,” stated young Eduardo Guisado Castellanos, a self-employed worker, speaking with us live on Granma’s Facebook page, who firmly insisted that he was there to defend the Revolution, into which he was born and in which he intends to die.

“I came to tell Yunior García, the mercenary, who is hiding many things behind the pacifism he claims to defend: the homeland is being given away, the tranquility we have always had, our unity as Cubans,” said the young man who, in reference to the news circulating about what might happen in the community, said that he was no soldier, not “repressing” anyone, only “a resident who is defending his neighborhood and supporting his people.”

“We’re not fascists, we are the people; people who defend our conquests, true to Fidel, to the death. They brag that they are willing to shed their blood… from Miami. There are young people here who are willing to give our own lives for the homeland. Let them be very clear about that,” he added.

He reported that the foreign press had interviewed him, asking what he is doing there, to which he answered: “We know that there are people, wage earners, who may join him, and we are avoiding a people-to-people confrontation.”

“There is an atmosphere of tranquility here,” Solangel Arró La O, another resident, told our cameras, from a site near the building displaying the most flags in all of La Coronela.

Arró La O warned us about the effect posts circulating on social networks might have on citizens, which is why she made sure to convey security to the parents of the children attending the local elementary school, sending them a message of confidence in the reopening of schools, protected by their teachers and the entire community.

Teacher Yulexi Aponte Mendoza told us that he came out to remind the agent Yunior Garcia of Fidel’s teachings, those that have allowed our people to reach this November 15 with the pandemic under control, having developed several vaccines, and children returning to school.

During our live interview, a doctor, dressed in white, a color the counterrevolutionaries have attempted to misappropriate and add to their 15N symbols, addressed the construction of Yunior Garcia’s leadership, nonexistent in the community where she has lived for more than 25 years.

Barbara Corrales Arce is the family doctor who, based on her life experience, warned young people not to let themselves be manipulated by what they see on social networks, assuming that what may not be real is real.

No one is going to rain on our party!

On November 15, Cuba will reopen its borders, students will return to school; Havana, the capital of dignity, will await its 502nd anniversary, to celebrate as it has not been able to do in the last two years. National life will resume its course, with the greatest joy, but alert

In direct contradiction with President Biden’s recent declarations before the United Nations General Assembly, supporting multilateralism and cooperation in the struggle against the pandemic at a global level, the blockade of Cuba has been tightened, new sanctions were imposed and a new destabilization plan was set in motion, following their “soft coup” manual to the letter…
-Against a socialist project like ours, violent or military actions, invasion, occupation are never ruled out; but the first bet is on demoralization, on surrender, this is why the message of hatred of communism, the anti-socialist emphasis, the persecution of every possible economic solution, in short, the blockade…
-This is why Washington is so annoyed by Cuba’s success in confronting the pandemic, in particular the outstanding results of our vaccination program, developed with ingenuity, effort and our own resources. This explains the determination to disparage our public health system and deny this extraordinary achievement of Cuba…
-Every vaccine created and administered, every immunized compatriot, every infection avoided and every life saved are victories for the national cause and defeats of the imperialist aggression against our country. It may seem incredible to describe it that way, but there is no other way to describe the shameless use of a pandemic, with cold political calculation, against an entire people… In response to the imperialist plans, we are defeating the pandemic, as we have defeated and will defeat their aggressive plans, no matter how vicious the campaigns or slanders…
-Thanks to Fidel’s visionary policy of promoting science, and the continuity Raúl provided to that work; thanks to the talent, dedication and commitment with which several generations of Cuban researchers have been trained; our government has been able to face, like no other in Latin America or the Third World, the terrible threat of a pandemic… Today we are the first country in Latin America with three vaccines and two vaccine candidates under development, and the first in the world to begin vaccinating its pediatric population between two and 18 years of age…
-On November 15, Cuba will reopen its borders, students will return to school; Havana, the capital of dignity, will await its 502nd anniversary, to celebrate as it has not been able to do in the last two years. National life will resume its course, with the greatest joy, but alert
-The peace and harmony that distinguish life in our streets will continue to reign.

The CIGB-Mariel biotechnological complex, inaugurated October 25, is the first high-technology operation established in the Mariel Special Development Zone, a product of the joint efforts and knowledge of Cuban technologists, engineers and designers.

All are affiliated with the Esines specialized engineering services company affiliated with the BioCubaFarma enterprise group and the new CIGB-Mariel itself, were recognized in a ceremony for their design and technological conceptualization of the project, completed with optimum quality and financed with 100% Cuban capital.

During the event, presided by Party Political Bureau member and director of the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB), Marta Ayala Avila, as well as Oscar Treto Cardenas, from the Party Central Committee, BioCubaFarma director Eduardo Martinez Diaz stated that this treasure, of which the Cuban people is proud, was possible thanks to those who contributed, in many moments of tension, to ensuring that the highest standards were met in construction of the complex.

The young designer Lázaro Leonardo Hernández, an Esines specialist, described the experience as the most gratifying of his professional career, consolidating and giving continuity to the development of Cuban biotechnology.

Miguel Francisco Prado Muñoz, general director of Esines, added that the complex, built in just 57 months, is a huge plus for the Cuban technological industry and one of the most advanced in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The new facility’s director, engineer Catalina Álvarez Irarragorri, reported that plans for the complex include the production of vaccines and innovative drugs to treat diseases that afflict the Cuban population and of other nations, as well.

“Yunior is seeking a confrontation with the Armed Forces and Minint, we are seeing in him the creation and actions of a counterrevolutionary,” stated Dr. Carlos Leonardo Vazquez Gonzalez, on the Cuban television program Razones de Cuba, and he has the evidence. He knows that the objectives of the marches being promoted to take place November 15 are not as transparent as presented, and his actions are not isolated, or spontaneous.

Dr. Vázquez González, who for more than 25 years has been State Security agent Fernando, participated in a September 2019 workshop euphemistically entitled “The role of the Armed Forces in a transition process,” sponsored by the Madrid branch of Saint Louis University, also attended by Yunior García Aguilera, who is promoting the marches despite being informed by authorities of their illicit nature.

“That workshop was part of a project conducted by experts from different parts of the world; behind it are many organizations financed by the United States to overthrow the Cuban Revolution, such is the case of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED),” the doctor noted.

At this event, Richard Youngs, an expert from the Washington-based Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, gave a lecture on new forms of civic activism, espousing an approach directed toward the establishment of fundamentalist, privatizing capitalism, taking advantage of the population’s dissatisfaction, a strategy that has left its mark in countries like Venezuela, Nicaragua and Bolivia.

According to Dr. Vázquez, participants in the workshop were mostly Cuban journalists, doctors and historians, along with Felipe González Márquez, leader of the Spanish Socialist Workers Party and President of the nation for 14 years, who in 1983 created the so-called Anti-Terrorist Liberation Groups, responsible for kidnappings, torture and murders in that country.
